In my job today, I had the opportunity to read the Icelandic Constitution, and discovered that it expressly grants to Icelandic citizens the right to adequate health care. In this day and age, there is absolutely no reason for there not to be one. And yet there are now aspiring presidential candidates in the US who would rather a patient die than have access to the health care they need (and people who support this sentiment).
